Welcome to the website of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Berkhamsted.

We have been a worshipping community in Berkhamsted for over 100 years.

Here you will be able to find all the information that you might need - weekly mass times, information about what's on, who's who and how you might like to get involved.

You can view our parish calendar to see what's on over the coming months.

Dates for your diary include: FLOWER FESTIVAL The Sacred Heart Church is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the official opening of the new church. It was opened by Cardinal Heenan, Catholic archbishop of Westminster, on June 6th 1967. The flower festival will take place on June 16-18 and many of the churches in Berkhamsted are contributing with floral displays on the theme 'Creation'. Refreshments will be available throughout the opening times and there will be stalls selling plants and handmade crafts. All proceeds will go to CAFOD, the Catholic overseas aid organisation providing help in war-torn countries, especially the Middle East. Opening times: Friday 11am -5pm; Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday 12 noon - 5pm. There will be a Songs of Praise service at 5pm to conclude the festival.
